As a teacher, I'm the first one to admit that every day I am learning and discovering new things around me. I try to set the example with my students to keep them engaged, life-long learners. However, prior to taking any Ashford courses, I hate to admit this but I have had minimal exposure to Wikis, Twitter and even Facebook. I am excited to discover just how powerful a tool a wiki website can be for online collaboration. Password protected wikis in which faculty can add, edit and save content that has already been published; will definitely save time and efforts when sharing information such as lesson plans and tests. This is only the tip of the iceberg as far as how wikis can affect, shape and enhance the classroom setting.
